Forensic
Taylor Norum has been practicing psychology since 2017. He began his career in the non-profit sector, providing clinical support to families and children with neurodevelopmental concerns and a wide range of family-related challenges. In 2018, he joined his family’s private practice, Norum Psychological Services, where he continues to provide both clinical and forensic family psychological services.
Taylor is a trained therapist, mediator and Parenting Coordinator who also provides binding arbitration. He has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration, and parenting coordination. His clinical work includes family therapy, co-parent counselling and coaching, and family reunification therapy. Taylor also prepares both evaluative and non-evaluative Voice of the Child Reports, as well as Practice Note 7 Evaluative and Therapeutic Interventions.
He is listed on the Alberta Justice Roster of Mediators and the Brief Conflict Intervention Roster. Taylor is an active member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Alberta Family Mediation Society, and Family Mediation Canada. He has been appointed as a Parenting Expert by the Court of King’s Bench and has been qualified as an expert witness, and has provided testimony in the Court of Justice.
