Holding a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology with a focus on Mental Health from Walden University, Taylor is affiliated with several professional organizations including the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, EMDRIA, EMDR Canada, Family Mediation Canada, and the Alberta Family Mediation Society. He is also appointed as a Parenting Expert in the Court of Kings Bench.

In forensic psychology, Taylor specializes in co-parenting counseling, parent coaching, and mediation of divorce and family conflicts. His mediation work covers issues such as parenting roles, scheduling, and support matters. Taylor also conducts individual parenting and parenting capacity assessments to evaluate and address parenting risks.
