Cathy Fielden

Cathy is a registered psychologist and certified teacher with 35 years of experience providing psycho-educational assessment services for children and youth from ages 3  to 18  within an Alberta public school system.  Her experience as a teacher gives her a unique advantage in knowing meaningful, relevant, practical, and effective learning strategies for specific needs.

Cathy provides psycho-educational assessment services for preschool, school-aged children, adolescents, and adults.  Her areas of specialization include Autism Spectrum Disorder, specific learning disorders, giftedness, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders, intellectual disabilities, mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, severe behavior concerns. 

Cathy has a Masters of Science degree in Clinical, School and Community Psychology, a Bachelors degree in Education, and an Early Childhood Diploma from the University of Calgary.  She is passionate about maximizing academic and emotional success through thoughtful assessment and programming. She works collaboratively with and is dedicated to the children, families, and professionals she supports. Her goal is to help you understand how you or your child/adolescent learns and to provide strategies to enhance success at home, school, and the community.
