Jaime Norum-Boyd is a registered psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She has a Master’s of Science in Counselling specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jaime is a trained EMDR therapist and a Level 2 trained LENS Neurofeedback provider.
Jaime has experience working with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings, including overseas work with children and youth in Germany, Rwanda, and Kenya as a student athlete. Jaime also completed a one-year internship through Insight Counselling and Therapy Center by providing therapy for low-income individuals, couples, and families. She has advanced training in EMDR with children, adolescents, and adults.
Jaime uses an approach based on EMDR Therapy integrated with LENS Neurofeedback, Polyvagal Theory Interventions, Parts/Ego State Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Somatic & Sensorimotor therapy, CBT, Non-Violent Communication (NVC), and other trauma-informed modalities as needed.
